Present your products, services or event programme in a folded leaflet. Choose the finished size, paper and fold type, including V-fold, C-fold, Z-fold and gate fold. Plan the cover, inside panels and reading order before preparing your artwork, then check the price for your quantity in the DTS calculator.
Leaflet configurator and ordering
Once you’ve configured your product in the calculator, add it to your basket. The order quantity is added as one set. Delivery and VAT are calculated at checkout. We review every order before production and will contact you if anything is unclear.
V-fold, C-fold, Z-fold or gate fold?
Choose the fold type to suit the reading experience. A V-fold opens simply with a single fold. With a C-fold, the panels fold inward; with a Z-fold, they open in alternating directions, so the same text layout may not work for both. A gate fold should be planned as a whole, with the opening revealing the inside content. First check the diagram for your chosen format in the calculator, then complete your artwork. Make sure you know which panel is the cover, which is the back, and how the text flows as the leaflet opens.
Panels, finished size and paper choice
The number of panels on a leaflet refers to the printed surfaces created by the selected folds; it does not mean the same number of separate sheets. In addition to the panel count, compare portrait, landscape and square formats. You need the folded and flat sizes to lay out the text, so don’t prepare your artwork based only on an approximate format name. The available materials depend on the selected version. The calculator offers single- or double-sided, colour or black-and-white printing, and lamination for suitable materials. Folds should be taken into account from the start when choosing the paper and planning your layout.
From your selected configuration to a combined order
Enter the total quantity and number of designs in the calculator, then select a production time. If you change the leaflet category, check the finished size, material and finishing options again. If you are preparing different programmes or language versions, label them clearly and specify the quantity for each design. Add the final configuration to your basket as a set. You can include flyers or catalogues in the same order as supporting materials. The calculator price applies to the selected quantity and excludes VAT; check delivery and taxes at checkout. Files can be sent in advance by email or WeTransfer.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a flyer and a folded leaflet?
A flyer presents its content on a flat sheet. A folded leaflet divides the content into panels that open along folds. This page covers folded leaflets: choose the finished size, fold type and panel layout before preparing your artwork.
What do four-panel and six-panel leaflets mean?
This refers to the number of printable panels after folding. A four-panel leaflet typically has one fold, while a six-panel leaflet has two; the layout depends on the fold type selected. Check the layout for the exact version you’ve chosen and the panel order. The number of panels is not the same as the number of sheets in your order.
What’s the difference between a C-fold and a Z-fold?
With a C-fold, the panels fold inward; with a Z-fold, they fold in alternating directions. This changes the reading order and the layout of the cover and inside panels. Use the correct artwork setup for the fold you choose, and check the width of each panel before completing your artwork.
Can I choose a laminated leaflet?
Yes, if lamination is available for your selected material configuration. First select the product and paper, then check the available matt or gloss finish. If you change the material, review the summary again, as finishing options vary between combinations.
What should I check in my leaflet artwork?
Check the finished size, flat size, surface order, opening direction and text placement in relation to the folds. The cover should be on the correct panel, and important content should not extend into the fold or trim area. If you have already sent the file, clearly match its name to the version you ordered.
