Once you’ve configured your product in the calculator, add it to your basket. The order quantity is added as one set. Delivery and VAT are calculated at checkout. We review every order before production and will contact you if anything is unclear.
Booklets, manuals and training materials
A wire-bound publication can be used for conference proceedings, work manuals, learning materials or presentation handouts. When choosing a format, consider whether readers will mainly read text, look over wide tables or work with illustrated instructions. The calculator offers portrait, landscape and square formats in several sizes. Choose the metal spiral color as part of the product's look: white, silver and black may each pair differently with the cover. Also decide on the binding edge before preparing your artwork. Keep the layout clear near the binding so important text isn't placed directly in the area where the pages are attached.
Sheet count and single- or double-sided printing
The calculator uses a sheet count, which you set separately from the quantity. A sheet has two sides, so ten sheets of double-sided interior printing means twenty pages. With single-sided printing, one side of each sheet is printed. This distinction matters when comparing your file's page count with your order. You can choose color or black-and-white printing, single-sided or double-sided printing, and the available paper and paper weight. The current selector allows 2 to 200 sheets. If you are preparing multiple designs with different page counts, set them up as separate configurations so the sheet count is correct for each product.
Cover options and wire colours
The Add cover with different specifications option lets you choose the cover paper and printing separately. When selected, you can also choose matte or gloss lamination in the available single-sided or double-sided finish. Name the interior and cover files separately so their purpose is clear. Then check the quantity, artwork, spiral color and selected turnaround time. Before placing your order, make sure the final specifications match your artwork. Should I enter sheets or pages in the calculator?
Enter the number of sheets in the Sheet count field. One sheet has two sides: ten sheets printed double-sided gives you twenty printed pages, while single-sided printing gives you ten. Set the quantity, or number of finished proceedings booklets, in the separate Quantity field.
What metal spiral colors can I choose?
The calculator offers white, silver and black metal spirals. Choose a color to match the cover or the overall look of your materials. If you need different colors for different groups of copies, create separate configurations so the quantities for each version are clear.
Can I choose single-sided, black-and-white printing?
Yes. The interior is available in color or black-and-white, with single-sided or double-sided printing for either option. Choose based on the content, and make sure the sheet count matches the length and layout of your file.
Can I laminate the proceedings cover?
Yes. First select a cover with different specifications, then choose its paper, printing and available lamination. Matte and gloss finishes are available, with the corresponding single-sided and double-sided options. If you don't select a separate cover, don't include these additional options in your specification.
