Choose the dimensions, board thickness and colour, then select single- or double-sided printing and optional lamination. Forex board printing configurator
Once you’ve configured your product in the calculator, add it to your basket. The order quantity is added as one set. Delivery and VAT are calculated at checkout. We review every order before production and will contact you if anything is unclear.
Foamed PVC thicknesses and colours
White boards are currently available in thicknesses of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10 and 19 mm. Black boards are available in 3, 5, 10 or 19 mm thicknesses. Your choice affects the appearance of the edge and how the sign is handled, so also consider its size, position and support method. A thin board and a large freestanding display have different requirements. The calculator includes Ex-Cel Impress and Ex-Cel Colours options. If you need a specific material or property to match an existing installation, mention this before ordering so we can check whether the option is suitable.
Single- or double-sided printing and finishing
For wall graphics, usually only one side needs to be visible, while both sides may be visible on a hanging or otherwise exposed sign. In the configurator, select single-sided or double-sided printing accordingly. Add lamination from the optional extras, then choose a matt, gloss or write-on/wipe-off finish. Hanging hooks are a separate option. For double-sided prints, name the files according to the side and ensure they are correctly oriented. For special mounting, drilling or custom-shaped cutting, send us a plan before ordering; these requirements are not automatically included when you select rectangular dimensions.
Artwork and mounting requirements
For an advertising or information sign, choose text size to suit the viewing distance. Clear content, good contrast and a logical order of information are often more important than fitting in lots of details. Enter the width and height in the configurator in centimetres. For a run of identical signs, enter the total quantity and number of designs; add different formats as separate items. For outdoor use, also describe exposure to sun, moisture or wind before choosing the thickness and mounting method. It’s easier to finalise the specification with the dimensions and a photo of the installation location.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are white and black Forex boards available?
Yes. White is available in the configurator in several thicknesses from 1 to 19 mm, while black is available in 3, 5, 10 and 19 mm. Choose the colour and thickness as the material, then check the price for your required size.
Can I order double-sided printing?
Yes, select single-sided or double-sided printing in the calculator. For double-sided graphics, specify which file goes with each side and provide the correct orientation. For a sign visible from both directions, also check the mounting method.
Is lamination required?
No. Lamination is an optional extra. Once selected, you can choose a matt, gloss or write-on/wipe-off finish. Choose the finish to suit the appearance and use of the sign, and check your selection in the summary before adding it to your cart.
Is Forex suitable for an outdoor sign?
Forex is also used for outdoor graphics, but the specification needs to suit the conditions. The format, thickness, mounting method and exposure are all important. For a larger or particularly exposed installation, send us a description of the location before ordering.
Can I order a sign with drilled holes or a custom-shaped cut?
These customisations are not listed as standalone options in the current configurator. For drilled holes, a custom-shaped cut or a special mounting system, send us a sketch and dimensions. The specification and price must be agreed before confirming this type of order.
