Configuring and ordering a printed banner
Once you’ve configured your product in the calculator, add it to your basket. The order quantity is added as one set. Delivery and VAT are calculated at checkout. We review every order before production and will contact you if anything is unclear.
Choose a PVC banner material
Choose the banner material for the intended display and lighting. The current selection includes a backlit option for illuminated displays. Check the dimensions, mounting position and fastening method before ordering. For an unusual installation, send DTS a description of the location and your requirements so the material and finishing can be confirmed.
Banner dimensions, welded hems and eyelets
Measure the available area and allow space for fastening. The configurator offers preset sizes and the option to enter custom dimensions in centimetres; the latter allows a maximum height of 150 cm and width of 1000 cm. For finishing, choose either trimming or welding the banner material with eyelets every 0.5 m. We recommend allowing a safe margin between important text and the edges or fastening points when designing your artwork. For special eyelet spacing, larger formats or joining panels, send us the dimensions and a description of the installation so we can agree on the best solution.
Artwork for large banners
For a larger banner, prioritize a clear message, type that is large enough to read, and an image suitable for the final print size. Also consider how far away people will be when reading it. Enter the total number of banners and the number of different designs separately. For different sizes, create separate items so the specifications for each version are clear. The configuration is added to the cart as a single set in the selected quantity. You can send us the files using the agreed method; if we have already received them by email or WeTransfer, there is no need to upload them again when placing your order.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order a banner in a custom size?
Yes. Select the custom size option and enter the height and width in centimetres. For this option, the configurator allows a height of up to 150 cm and a width of up to 1000 cm. For larger or multi-panel banners, send us an enquiry first.
Are eyelets included with every banner?
Eyelets are available with the welded and eyeleted banner finishing option, with eyelets every 0.5 m. The basic trimming option does not include this finishing. Before adding the banner to your cart, check that the selected finish suits your fastening method.
Which material should I choose for a backlit banner?
The calculator includes Backlit banner material, designed for backlighting. Before ordering, check the type of lighting, dimensions and mounting method. If you have a different lighting setup or a custom enclosure, send us a description of the installation.
How do I order multiple designs?
Enter the total number of banners and the number of different designs. If the size, material or finishing also varies, create a separate item for each configuration. Name your files so it’s clear which version each one is for.
Where can I see the final price including delivery and VAT?
The configurator calculates the price of your selected banners excluding VAT. After adding them to your cart, check the specifications, then select delivery and review the total including tax at checkout.
